One of my crushes in the sports and showbiz world is Dyan Castillejo-Garcia. I know she’s a bit too old for me, but it’s just admiration anyway. I like her not only because she’s a really good tennis player, and she’s also active in all other sports, but because she promotes health, beauty and wellness, as well as good family ties.
Sweat up! is one of her life mottos, because sweating up is healthy for our body, as long as you don’t get yourself dehydrated. This woman is always on the go, and she travels a lot being a host of Sports Unlimited, and yet she still gets to do her role as a full-time parent to her son Matthew and her sole as a wife. She’s like superwoman! Read the rest of this entry »

One time my mom passed by my neighbor, and she asked what was that smelly thing on their backyard. Our neighbor said that it was their old carpet and they will be disposing it because they are having ahard time maintaining it for cleaning. Mom asked what their problem was, and they said it has something to do with their pet dog.

Mom told them about training a dog and I think they never got to do it because when they got the dog it was already big. Mom suggested that they try to place him in a doghouse first and not let him in the house until he is trained. Read the rest of this entry »

My old friend Nathan emailed me about their trip to Bahamas. They really enjoyed their vacation. It’s also like their honeymoon because they weren’t able to go on a honeymoon after getting married early this year. His wife Rina has been asking for a break, but it took awhile before Nathan’s boss finally approve his leave from work.
It’s also a summer break and vacation and the same time, so it was really a great timing. They were also able to take advantage of the discounted rates because Rina has booked everything really early. Read the rest of this entry »

Getting involved in sports help in every child’s personality development. Teach you kids to get involve and love sport, but make sure that it is a sport that he or she likes to play. Sports isn’t all about winning in a competition, rather it is about having fun while staying fit.

Enroll your kids in a sport that they love and plan to stick with,  if they are still undecided which one they would like to focus on, let them experience every possible sport event, until they choose the one that thye feel would fit them best. Then, find a good coach who can give them proper training in the said sport.

Show your support all the way by taking time to be there on their competitions, or simply watch their practice sessions. Teach them to be calm and friendly. Getting your kids involve will not only help develop their agility and skills, but it will also help strengthen their bodies and immune system. And most of all, it will help develop their personality and how to deal with other people. They will learn to work hard to achieve their goals and win.

There’s also one important thing that you should not forget to remind your kids. When it comes to sports, it isn’t all about winning every game, but it’s how they played the game that counts. Win or lose as long as they give it their best shot, always appreciate their efforts.

Our cars are just like any other properties we buy, like our homes, appliances, jewelries and other expensive luxury things. We should take care of them to keep their value, and so we can still dispose them at a good prize, if ever we plan to buy another in the future.

Having a car does not end at the moment you purchase your car, you should also make sure that it is covered by insurance, just in case anything unpleasant happens. Look for a company that will provide you with a premium yet very affordable and possibly the lowest auto insurance plan compared to others. Yet you also have to check for the companies background, when choosing one.  Read the rest of this entry »
