Love Sacrifice

Have you ever told somebody i love you
and yet you set them free?
have you ever held somebody closer than your soul
only to let them go and move away…

have you ever found the one….
the one who makes you feel complete?
Only to lose them forever
and watch them happy with someone else

did you ever wish you’re that somebody
who can kiss and taste her lips?
did you ever dream of her walking on the isle
pretty in her white wedding dress?

did you ever wish it was you
she’d say i do and promise forever to
and not the man beside you
who happened to be your beloved bro…

Are you going tonight,
or will you wait until tomorrow?
would you want to see her carry his child
and wish it was yours too?
while you smile and look at her,
and wish him happiness while you cry inside

or will you pick yourself up now and try to move on
…coz it’s time to say goodbye

This was the Poem I gave to Dee (Andrea) during Valentine’s day after we had a huge fight.

I know it’s kind of corny but she said that she loved it so much and she kept it all this time. She showed me the copy and I want to share it here. I love writing love letters and poems, and leaving sweet love notes for Dee almost everyday, coz we don’t get to spend much time together most especially when we have class, and I have work. We only have the weekends to spend. Anyway, I wont keep you waiting any longer. Here is the Poem entitled “I miss You”

I MISS YOU

I miss you when I don’t see you around,
My eyes keep wandering trying to find you, trying to find love
I feel empty when you’re not with me.
I feel so broken and only you could fix me and make me whole again.
I am taken, you have me, I am yours… Are you mine?

I miss you when you don’t say a word, your silence deafens my soul.
I miss you when I look at you and you’re not looking back at me
I miss you when I don’t hear you laugh
I miss you when I don’t see you smile…

I’m not not looking for anyone else but you, because you make complete
There’s no one else that I’d want to share this love with but you
But It makes me wonder, Why do I always miss you, even when we’re together?
I am taken, you have me, You have all of me…
I am yours… Are you mine?

So many firsts… So many firsts that lasts…
Just like how I fell in love
the very first time I laid my eyes on you.
Seeing you and watching you for the first time
touching and carrying you for the first time…

Seeing you grow, hearing you laugh,
seeing your eyes glistening in wonder and awe.
Watching your face glow with gladness ,
and your eyes wide open when surprised…

Those little toes and feet,
those tiny steps towards me…
Those tiny arms wide open,
the wide smile, the giggles,
and a tiny voice that says
gibberish words like daddda.

Those are the little things
that’s worth a lifetime of happiness for me.
