Summer and other holidays always come, and it’s better to prepare for the next years, so your new riding toy can be used as many times as you want even during other seasons. It was in England that the word spa became a generic description rather than a name of a Belgian town.

Our modern-day one piece hot tubs or spas are smaller, portable and much more comfortable. They are incorrectly called as Jacuzzi or Whirlpool tubs in America. Unibody hot tubs or spas come with fittings, parts  and other accessories. One of these are spa covers which are used to preserve the heat and conserve and save energy consumption.

She’s really amazing! When you see her in person, you will not a have a single clue that she can ride the horse like a man. She is very feminine and soft spoken.

She said that she dreamt of becoming a world champion after she realized that she finally found the sport that she loved. So, she trained every single day until she became one of the best riders in the country, and the rest was history.

She have won many gold medals in different local and international equestrian competitions. She said that as early as now she is exposing her kids to the sport, but she still leave it to them to decide whether they want to pursue it or not.

It’s a run for a cause, for an environmental project here in our area. We did not win, but the fact that we were able to finish the competition was great, and it was a lot of fun. We just ran slowly until we reached the finish line.

Besides, it’s been awhile since we’ve last seen our dad in his running shorts, because he’s been pretty busy with his projects and trips this year. We don’t get to play basketball as much, unlike before that we do it almost every weekend, and get a chance to jog together every morning. So, it was a great chance for us boys in the family to have a quality bonding time.

It’s also a great exercise, although we felt tired after the run, it felt so refreshing. We plan to join the marathon again, and I guess next time, mom and Dee might be joining, while Iñigo and Amari will stay and wait together with Abuela on the finish line.

But I wonder why I don’t see too many of them here in our new area, unlike in our old place before, aside from those that are being used for commercial purposes.

I’ve heard that actors and actresses are actually using them, because they often go to very far locations to shoot their films, tv programs, series or  commercials. Others also prefer to buy their own buses, like two known actresses, whose names I’d rather not mention.Others are just making use of their old vans, but I think they are not aware of the good advantages of having a fifth wheel for a home away from home. Many companies are now offering  5th wheel warranty, so aside from the guarantee that you have a good place to stay at while away for a trip, you also get to save for the future maintenance, as long as your fifth wheel  is within warranty periods.

On the way to the venue, I can see the excitement and the happiness painted in my dad’s face. It’[s so evident that he really missed his friends whom he’s been with since high school and college, and even the few years after graduating from the university.

Dad told us that we can go to the recreation room and take my siblings with me so they can play console games like wii, xbox, etc. while we wait for mom to arrive with my Abuela. Dad has decided to let us stay in the hotel for a couple of days, while he and his friends will have some time together. They will only be around for a week or so, and they decided to have a two days reunion, all expense paid by Uncle Frank, who is one of the stock-holders of the hotel.Dad and his friends have planned this for years, but they were all too busy to carry out the plan, and finally they were able to find time to celebrate their long awaited reunion and enjoyed their time at the waterfront Hotel Casino Resort and Spa. Boys will always be boys, so their agenda were to do stuff they used to do together, relax, and have fun.

I think they really missed each other and their good old days. It’s really great to have a group of people that you can call as lifetime friends, that even if you’d be far away from each other for such a long time, the friendship ties that bonds you, will stay firm and strong for always.

This event really made me miss my friends too. But I guess it will take such a long time before we will all have the same kind of fun and reunion.

Amari kept looking for him, but he was nowhere to be found. At first we were just laughing and teasing Amari that Iñigo will be able to save Pao from being “it” but after a few minutes and Iñigo was stil out of sight we all started looking for him.  We all got worried because we couldn’t find him anywhere, only to find out that it would be difficult for anyone to find where he was hiding.  Just right for his size, he hid in the space under my abuela’s tv stand. He was trying so hard not to make any noise, but he giggled and moved and that’s how Amari found him. He laughed so hard and I helped him out because he was already sweaty and all. We all laughed because of his wits, he really knows what to do and how to play the game right.

After a few minutes, I bathed him because he got so sweaty and dirty from hiding and crawling on the floor. Dee dressed him up and we had him take his morning nap. It makes me wonder where he will hide next time we play hide and seek.

With all the family members complete, this is the day that we are required to cancel all our appointments with other people, unless otherwise it’s a matter of life and death. We just stay at home after going to church together. It is a strict rule that mom and dad has implemented. They said that no matter how busy our lives during weekdays will become, we should always find time to rest, relax, and give time for our family.

All our Sundays have been marked this way from the start, and it will stay as a our family tradition. We spend some time to bond, cook good food, talk about things, sing karaoke and videoke songs, sometimes do gardening too.

Sunday is also our family movie day where we reserve after dinner time to just sit back and relax in our sofas, getting all cozy snuggling together, to watch a good movie. It does not require to have a huge home theater to have fun watching a movie at home. We’re a big family and our TV isn’t even that huge, neither do we have expensive lazy boy seats. You can simply imagine us in our living room, huddling together in our two sofas joined in an L position, eating popcorn, or sometimes when we’re lucky, we get to eat ice cream or pizza.

Sometimes, we have a movie marathon. We watch two to three movies until it’s time to sleep. But if we do this, we usually have dinner early, and start movie time early, since we can’t stay up late either because we have to wake up early the following day.

Dad always make sure to rent a good movie, but usually, we all have our suggestions, and then we decide which to watch first, and then reserve the rest for the next weekend. We also do this during holidays, or other occasions wherein we are complete.

I don’t know why others find it more fun to stay out, or go out and drink, when you can be all comfy, happy, and healthy while having total fun with your family at home. For me, I will treasure each and every Sundays I have in my life.
