Most of us have been renting a house for many years. Our parents did not consider having a home of their own as a top priority. The children have to go to school to finish their education, and there were bills to pay every end of the month.

But have we ever thought that if we have saved all those money which we have paid in house rentals all these years, we could have our own home already? That is wise investment! We buy essential things when we have money to spare, and this investment lasts for us to enjoy. There is no need to wait until we have all the money to buy all the things we need in life.

One example is our desire to have a home that we can call our own. Most of us like to have a home where we and our family can live comfortably and safely. Almost all of us have this dream in life, and we work hard to make this dream a reality.

Now is the high time for you to build your own home. Building your own house is the best option in the long run. Buying a ready-made house have many disadvantages. There may be lots of hidden defects in it, and you will not enjoy living in a home made not according to your taste.

Consult home builders now. They will be more than willing to assist you in your desire to construct your own home. Give them the location where you want to build your house; select the size of the lot for your home; choose which home type or design you like, and immediately they will draw the floor plans and give you the pricing.

At no-obligation price quote, they will itemize all standard and optional features of your house so that you will know where your dollar goes, and there are no hidden costs and no unwelcome surprises! You will receive a copy of the quote showing the pricing, descriptions, and pictures of your selection.

You can change some details to suit your personal wants or taste. You can have it customized from start up to final construction and even up to interior design. Personally, I like Ethan Allen concepts. Uour home builder and interior designer as well as your furniture provider can work together to build your perfect home. They will accompany you to the site before the start of actual construction, and they will be communicating with you to finalize your plans, customization, and other minor details before constructing your house.

You can get the best value in customized home building without paying an overrated price. Choose a trusted home builder of high quality customized homes that is known for excellence in customer satisfaction, quality construction, and financial stability. And at the turnover of your completed home, make sure that they will give you a ten-year insured transferable structural warranty.

Consult the best home builders and designers now, and take advantage of their low interest financing. For me, it is still best to construct your customized home from scratch that to buy a readily built one. It’s not just a way to save money but also to express yourself and fulfill your dream!

Have you been health-conscious lately, and you tried very hard to be a vegetarian? Indeed, it is quite hard to change your diet, and start eating vegetables when you are used to eating flesh meats. It takes a will and discipline to successfully do it.

But good health is not all about food. It is more about the functional relation of the 4 aspects of life: physical, mental, social, and spiritual. Nutrition touches only the physical aspect though it affects the others as a whole. In other words, to be truly healthy, we need to be healthy not only physically but mentally, socially, and spiritually.

This is what we call healthy lifestyle. This lifestyle avoids not only harmful foods and substances that can damage our body, but it also shuns bad habits or attitudes that can endanger our mind, our good relationship with our fellowmen, and our spirituality.

We may be a total vegetarian, but we stay very late at night – we weaken our immune system and make ourselves very susceptible to a host of diseases. We may have more hours of sleep (this is not good either – we are practicing to die!), but we drive our car recklessly – we are endangering our lives and bound to die very soon!

A healthy lifestyle is holistic. It is a balanced functional relationship of the 4 aspects of life. They must go together and function together as one. If one is weakened, the whole is also weakened and affected.

We all agree that if we do not eat balanced diet, our mental capacity is stunted. Or if we have not eaten our lunch, we become irritable, and may quarrel with our neighbors, thus making us socially unhealthy. But you might not agree with me, if I say that if we have no time with God or no time to read the Holy Bible (that is, we are unspiritual), we are also unhealthy.

A healthy lifestyle is a life that is healthy physically, mentally, socially and spiritually. It is a life of vegetarianism, of good hygiene, of temperance in all things, of sober and ennobling thoughts, of benevolent deeds, and a life fully surrendered to the will of God.

We all work to live. We spent a lot of money, time and effort to have this job we have today. There is no need to quit! Our family and loved ones need our support. Whatever the circumstances and environment in our workplace, we need to be patient and understanding to all at all times. No matter what, our daily goal must be to achieve a camaraderie and rapport with all in or outside our workplace.

<p style="text-align: justify;>Probably you are tired of the demands of your employer. Or you may be on consecutive 24-hour shifts because of lack of staff . Or you may be unhappy of your low or unpaid salaries. I used to feel the same way until I started doing things I love. They say when you love your job, you won’t be working anymore. This saying is no cliche, because when you love what you do, there’s no more pressure or getting bored and having burnout. You can chill and relax in your modern daybed without worrying too much

Do not worry! Relax! Problems always have solutions. They do not last forever! For all we know, solutions to our problems may be coming tomorrow. Take some time to talk to friends and family. We all need somebody to talk to. We need something to keep our mind busy to forget our problems.

During my childhood days, my father gave me some white pearls from oysters which he got from the deep sea. He told me that pearls grow, and to me it was incredible that a thing that seems like a stone would grow. So, for curiosity’s sake, I put it in a glass of water, and learned, after few days, that it indeed grew and became bigger.

During those days, white pearls were common as the sea shells in the island. Most fishermen in the island dived for oysters to have viands for their family, and some of the oysters have pearls in it. As a child, I was ignorant of the value of pearls. I used them as toys, together with shiny colorful sea shells, for playing.

Pearls are indeed precious and of great value. Depending on type and quality, prices of pearls vary. Pearls that have undergone review process, like the hanadama pearls are expensive and valuable. Some salt water pearls like the black and dark Tahitian pearls which are the favorite of royalty through the ages are also more expensive compared to the common white pearls.

Nowadays, I don’t have the chance or luxury as what my dad used to do or give me. But instead of pearls, I’ll just get cheap morgan dollars or buy gold to keeo for my son’s future. But this summer, my dad is planning to take us to the island to go diving. Aside from my siblings, we’re also taking my son with us, so he will also experience it. Who knows, we might get lucky and get akoya pearls.

The best hangout for us is still at home. Whether just for relaxing or having guests sleepin over or just visiting. Having an unexpected gathering at home could be a hassle most especially if there are a lot of visitors and you don’t have nothing to offer. That’s why I admire my mom and wife for always anticipating the unexpected and always being prepared for unexpected visitors. They could even hold a party at home any moment. Our home is well kept, even the guest rooms are always ready, and there’s always enough food for everyone. I guess that’s the huge difference about having responsible and hospitable women at home.
But that doesn’t mean we don’t do our part, because we are always ready to do them favors and run errands. When it comes to partying we’re always ready to give entertainment to visitors. We have pianists, talented guitarist and violinist too if they desire to hear classical pieces. And when it comes to modern party music, the ipod is always ready at the ipod docking station for non-stop party music and great dance playlists. If there are a lot of kids coming over, we also have different gaming consoles to enjoy.
Now that we have a spacious garden and a little pool at home, it’s even more relaxing. So I can say that visitors are never bored and there’s no doubt they love our place coz once they visit us, they always keep coming back.

The only thing we can do is to conserve to save for the future. One good step is to save on electric bills by reducing our power consumption at homes and at the workplace. Put off lights that are not necessary, and put off the television set when nobody is watching it. Put off the air conditioner when no one is using it, or better still, share air conditioners with members of the family. By this, you will not only save power in using the air conditioner, but save save power too fro reduced number of lights used.

Do not open the refrigerator often, it increases power consumption when its coolness is dissipated to the air and the compressor motor starts to bring the temperature back to its setting. When a motor starts, a high power supply is needed resulting to a higher power cost.

Do not use your car when not very necessary – ride the jeepney, the bus or the train when going to work. It is cheaper and hassle-free.

Save on water consumption. Use your last washings to water your plants, or to clean the porch, or even clean the tires of your cars. Save the water when you take a bath; this can be used to flush the toilet.

Minimize your shoppings in supermarkets by scheduling them. Buy all the necessary vegetables and ingredients for the whole week, and avoid unnecessary errands to the market. By this you save a lot from fuel or from transportation fares, and from the increases in prices of goods that may come unpredictably.

The whole world is currently undergoing financial crises. More banks have closed, and the value of dollar has plunged down gradually. More businesses are affected, and more people loss their jobs. You should ensure your future and find other ways to save your money. Make investments like those people who buy gold online or those who invest their money in buying real estate lots and properties while the value is low, and sell them out later at a higher price, when the economy gets much better.

Financial struggles are always with us. As long as we are alive, they will remain to exist. It is therefore imperative that we learn some ways how to minimize the adverse effects of it in our daily lives. There is no other way, but to live with it.

Lights and chandeliers make homes beautiful. Lights and chandeliers are not only functional, but they also aesthetically decorate our homes. Beautiful lights and chandeliers at home evoke a feeling of majestic grandeur such as present in palaces and residences of kings and of the rich.

Are you planning to build your own house, or are you remodeling your present home? Include in your design the installation of beautiful lights and chandeliers. They not only beautify your homes, but they are good investment too. Money are easily spent, and we wonder sometimes where our dollars go. But the necessary things we buy for our homes will always last to bring us joy and happiness. Choose those lights that uses durable and energy saving materials like that of cree xm-l so you can save and stay on the budget without compromising good results.

When we constructed our house, we set aside a budget for lights and chandeliers. It makes us happy always when our friends and visitors appreciate the beauty of our lighting and chandeliers at home. It has been years now since we bought our chandeliers, and they are still beautiful and durable.

The main purpose of marriage is to build a happy family that will work together as one. An ideal family is one that worship God together, love his fellowmen, and law abiding. And of course, the best family is one where love abounds everyday throughout the years.

To build this kind of family, we should choose our prospective mate who is God-fearing and with good moral values. My friend is so lucky to have found this girl, and to have her almost all his life. Just recently, he finally got those diamond solitaire rings and plans to propose to her bride to be. He want the proposal to be a perfect one, that his bride to be will remember forever. It is so great to know, that most of my friends have finally decided to get married with their beloved.

The joy of marriage is the most lasting one. I can attest to that myself. For my wife made me whole and happy more than anyone, and our son completed us. This joy and happiness from the most intimate relationship of two people who have been joined together as one flesh in sacred matrimony is the purest and the sweetest of all feelings.

Marriage was instituted by God right after Creation. It was designed for man’s happiness, and it is sacred and perpetual. The vow of the holy matrimony, by God’s permission, binds together two people in love to be one flesh “…in sickness and in health, till death do us part.” It is an inviolable bond which no one has the right to put asunder.

I miss my abuelo’s stories about life and his experiences as a child and teen. He has seen and experienced the big contrast of the rural and urban life. His childhood days were wholly spent in a barrio of an island municipality in the province.

He says that life in the island is very different from the life in the city. Way back, there was still no sophisticated electronic gadgets in the island. There was no telephone, and communication was through the telecoms which was located kilometers away on top of the mountain. Their mode of transport by land was mostly by foot, and those who can afford, bought bicycles or motorcycles . By sea, they use the canoes, and the small motorized boats. The newspapers arrived days late, and they received the news through the radio. There was no television then, and they knew other events happening around them through radio and through the magazines and newspapers which usually came days later.

Life in the island was very simple. Their daily food consisted of rice and fish. Sometimes, they have cassava, sweet potatoes, yam, and other tubers which were abundant in the island. When rice supply became scanty, most of the islanders subsisted on these root crops. Viands was not a problem. The island is surrounded by a deep blue sea teeming with varieties of fish, shells, and other sea foods. They get vegetables from the farms, and other edible leaves in the mountain and steam these together with fish for their viand.

As in most rural areas, the islanders wake up early in the morning. By 4 o’clock in the morning, farmers went up to the mountain to till their farms. Others fed their chickens, and pigs. Most of the adult men and the elderly get together early in the morning to converse of what had transpired in the barrio, and in other barrios around the island during the night, while enjoying their favorite ashton cigars given by relatives abroad. They took good care of their farms and rests at home every Saturday and Sunday or go to the church barrio to attend mass. The grandmothers cleaned their backyards, and burned the rubbish of dried leaves under the fruit trees in their yards.

Nowadays, living in the rural areas isn’t much different from the urban areas. With the technology, electricity, media and the growing population. I must say, the quality of life was better back in my abuelo’s childhood years. The pollution was less too.
