The Sewing Moms

Everytime I pass by a certain blog called sewing mom, it reminds me of Abuela, my mom, and Dee, because one of the things that they know in common is how to sew. Actually, it was abuela who taught both mom and Dee.

If you get a chance to visit our house, you will really appreciate their work too. None of the curtains, covers, bed covers, pillow cases, and even the kitchen and bathroom towels are bought ready-made. All of them are sewed and designed by the sewing moms at home. Currently, the sewing moms at home design curtains, patio furniture cushions covers, sofa covers, etc. and sew it themselves using our electric sewing machine. That’s what I call a productive hobby and a perfect bonding moment for them.I ind it hard to do myself, perhaps because it’s not a guy thing, but there’s no harm in trying. I am actually interested to learn myself, and maybe when Dee and I live in a separate home, we can both work together in beautifying our own place without having to spend too much.
