New Old Buddy

I was so surprised to see one of my friends back in first year college. Aldwin used to be the weird and nerdy-stalker looking type who scare girls away. He was so smart no doubt about it, but his physical profile is what turned off most of his crushes. He never had a girlfriend then and the girl he liked most went for the less brainy yet more popular and physically attractive classmate that we had. We were pretty close because we were seatmates then, and I am also grateful coz he has done me favors like sharing notes whenever I’m absent from class.

One time he told me, you know buddy, one day I will be much better than all of those other guys. I told him that he was good looking and only needed to change his get-up and maybe eat more to gain weight. After that year, I havent seen him around because he transferred to a different school, well not until last week. I was so surprised to see my old buddy who has changed a lot I hardly recognized him. If he did not call out my name and said hello I would have mistaken him for a model.

No more geeky glasses, nice built and flawless skin. He probably had taken it seriously when he said that he will do everything to change his looks and find the best muscle building supplements that will help him achieve the built he wants. Looks like he’s been successful with his quest with the way he looks now. I never imagined that such a nerdy looking, tall and lanky lad will end up to be such a macho muscled man who has also became pretty popular with girls. Well, that’s life, and change is always good when it’s for the better.
