Having emergency kits, cabinets and other medical facilities at home is necessary just in case any situation arises, most especially if someone at home has a certain illness that needs quick attention and medications. It usually takes for help to arrive, so it is necessary that at least one person at home is knowledgeable about the primary help that should be given, what medicines need to be taken by the patient, and those medications and other emergency medical equipments should be accessible anytime. Mount an emergency cabinet on any wall surface visible to everyone’s eyes and easy to locate the AED when needed. Home and Family emergency preparedness is a must. It is better to be ready at all times, and wise for family members to be trained or taught how to deal with any emergency situations, not to panic and call for help immediately.
