For me, one of the most useful inventions ever introduced is the Global Positioning System or sattelite navigation system. Aside from the fact that it is being used by the  ships, airplanes to stay on their track, as well as the military and other intelligence groups to ensure the security of countries and to keep watch of global boundaries, it is also useful for people of all ages most especially for locating places,  locating stolen cars, motorcycle, etc, and even lost kids and elderly.

Satellite navigation systems are likewise useful motorbike users as well as cyclists. I’ve seen how they do wonders in the last amazing race competition. Nowadays, satellite navigation system is also a useful feature in our mobile phones making it more functional for gathering live traffic feeds, and a great guide for first time travelers or explorers.

Car owners who would like to avoid heavy traffic jams, satellite navigation system is a real valuable auto add-on to get. Satellite navigation screens come in assorted contours and sizes. Depending upon the availability of space in your automobile, and with your taste and comfort, you’ll be able to select a square or rectangular screen with sizes of it from three to seven inches. Some costs a lot, but some have great quality that comes with an affordable price.

Sat Navs is indeed really valuable for car users and other motoring enthusiasts. Having a navigation system can also create a better and more comfortable driving experience because you don’t have to keep stopping or looking for people to ask directions. It saves a lot of time in avoiding heavy traffic jams too, most especially if you’re in a hurry. With a satellite navigation system, it is easier to find the place you’re looking for and not get lost on the way.

One Response to “Benefits of GPS To Humanity”

  1. If it wasn’t for GPS I’d be lost downtown never to be found again. The only downside I’ve found is you become too dependent on it and forget how to think without that voice telling you where to go…. well I guess that’s what wives are for too I suppose.
