Why is it that sometimes we are too scared to accept change, most especially those brought about by technology? There are inventions that has become detrimental to humanity, but many have been very useful. Computers, mobile phones, fax machines, etc. make us communicate faster and easier than the old snail mails, beepers and telegraphs. But for some reason, there are those who would rather stick to the old fashion way of doing things than to learn and accept time change.

Some old people even those who are well aware that technology driven innovations can make a huge difference in their lives and businesses, they still opt to use the manual method. Like say for instance, there’s a one-stop shop owner whom I personally know, who instead of using a computerized cash register and receipt printer, they are still using manual method. He knows for a fact that the new thing is better and makes transaction faster and the records of sales are so much easier to keep track of, but aside from the fact that they have to invest on it, they are also hesitant to change.
I guess some would like do do it their old ways and they are more effective that way. But really, there is nothing wrong with accepting things, especially some good science and technology invention that makes life easier and better.
