Ideal AntiVirus For My Netbook

I’m using a netbook for blogging and surfing the net. I’ve tried installing many types of known anti-virus, but they seem to slow down my netbook especially if it is turned on to scan real-time. It also take such a long time to scan the whole system and all the drives.

I’ve been looking for a light weight antivirus that would also act as anti spyware without taking up too much resources. Just like recently, I’ve had issues with malware that acts a s a fake antivirus asking me to download and pay to upgrade to get rid of the errors. It infected many files in the system and I had to use several anti-malware software and manual remove the viruses and malware that runs automatically from the registry and the  exe files that propagates in the system.

I think it’s also a virus that I got from a file attachment through e-mail, so I really need protection guard for incoming e-mails, because I am using outlook. I found VIPRE Antivirus + Antispyware which is an ideal antivirus software for my netbook, not only because it proactively protects the whole system, but it’s perfect too because it detected and prevented viruses in email attachments from infecting my netbook’s system.
