Dad's Trip To Subic

All of us wanted to go with Dad on his trip to Subic. We were hoping that we could spend the long weekend together, but of course since it’s a business trip, we can’t just tag along. Besides, my siblings have classes. Dad, however, promised that he will bring us pasalubong when he gets back from the trip.
I think he will be away for a week or so because one of his bosses asked him to accompany him on his meetings with the new investors, to present some of their new ideas. I guess they will also pass by the metropolitan before going home to check on their industrial products suppliers. I even thought it was a little odd since that isn’t really his line of work, but I’m still glad because his big bosses have a lot of trust in him. It makes us all proud of dad.
On the other hand, it will also be beneficial for all of us, at least if they will be able to convince the investors, that means more projects for him, and the sooner we will be able to have our new family car.
