My dad is an architect and he is one of his clients.  He wanted dad to  design  an extension of his living room where he can exhibit his new collection.  Being my dad’s apprentice, I had the chance to visit their home, and see the whole interior design. I was truly amazed,  and my eyes could not believe what they saw. Truly this man knows how to appreciate art, his entire home is a manifestation for the love of art. The paintings on the walls, and the countless number of figurines that he and his wife collected through the years of travel. It’s a home filled with art, true elegance and beauty.

He buys not a few “Lladro” figures, his collection numbers not just in hundreds but thousands. This man was even featured in Rated K for his famous “Lladro” Collection, which is not only the biggest in the country, but in the world. The man is indeed a very rich man — not just financially but with passion for art.

    If there’s one thing I can’t stand it’s figurines cluttering up my house! :-) Really, no offense or anything. My wife used to collect onyx balls and figures and had them all over the house. The dust those things collected was incredible. I hate it, she loves them. Solution? hmmm. My mom also used to have a mess of little figures all over the place. Maybe it’s a woman thing? Who knows. But, there are definitely people who love them, I’m just not one of them :-)

    LoL, well yeah, people have different taste when it comes to art. I’m just amazed with the collection the couple has. I even wonder how much they have spent for them, because some of them costs hundreds of thousand per piece. Unbelievable!
