Daddy Can Feed Baby With Breast Milk Through Milk Storage System

dad feeding babyThere are many things that a mommy can do for the baby that a daddy can’t and one of them — which is the most essential of all would be  breastfeeding.  That’s why mommy often get tired and don’t get adequate time  to sleep.  She has to take care of baby, while doing other things at home, and make sure that daddy has food when he gets home. It would have been better if this job can be shared by both, but only mommy can breastfeed baby, however,  for daddies out there who wants to help ease the mommies’ burden, the  ultimate solution is breast milk storage.

Through breast milk storage, Daddy can take turns with mommy in feeding the baby. While mommy gets some rest, daddy can bottle feed baby with the stored breast milk. Aside from the fact that it gives mommy enough time to rest and regain her strength, it’s also a perfect time for daddy to bond with his tiny little package of happiness. In order to do this,  mommy’s breast-milk is  pumped into a breast-milk storage container, freeze or refrigerate,  and then when it’s time for mommy to sleep and baby asks for milk, there’s no need to wake her up.

At night or mid-dawn, Daddy can simply thaw out or warm up the stored breast-milk, and feed baby. Not all daddies get to experience this, and it’s such a joy to be able to feed your baby and be sure that he is still getting all the nutrients from his mommy’s milk. This also means big savings for the whole family since there’s no need to buy powdered formula milk that are not only expensive, but are not as healthy as mommy’s natural breast-milk.

As we all know, breast milk is still the best for babies up to two years old. For as long as the mommy has milk to provide, it is best that we make the most out of it. For those who doesn’t know and make it laughing stuff — breast milk contains all the needed nutrients to keep the baby’s immune system strong to fight against illnesses. So, even if you start feeding your baby solid food at 5 months old, you must still feed him with breast milk.

Milk storage system also helps bring mommy, daddy and baby closer. So to all daddies out there, don’t miss the chance to be able to play mommy’s role in feeding the baby when you can.

My wife use to do this for our youngest son, Alan. She went off to work and I was at home with him. Having the need to eat, and breast milk being the best option, my wife stored up daily supplies that I then fed to the boy. It really was a great experience. Thanks for the post!

Yeah, this is also one thing I also enjoyed the most, also the solid food feeding part, and lulling the baby to sleep. :) Some dads don’t really take time to experience these things, they don’t know what they’re missing out.
