Another Storm Is Coming

rainWe stayed at home all day due to the heavy rain.  I have noticed that most people and families stayed at home too. I remember that when I was a kid, whenever it rains, we rejoice  because it’s a chance for us to play and dance in the rain. But now… Everyone seems to be afraid of it.

According to the weather forecast, after the two typhoons that destroyed many homes and took away many lives, there is another potential tropical storm forming in the Pacific Ocean that’s moving west-northwest, which will probably bring more heavy rain pours in the coming days. Good thing my siblings are currently having their break from school, at least all of us are safe at home. We’re also lucky because we are situated in a safe place that’s flood-free.

Until now, many places in Asia are still in the process of recovering from the aftermath of the two previous typhoons that caused landslides, floods, tsunami, and earthquake.  I just pray that everyone will be safe before the next storm comes. According to the weather bureau there will be more storms that will come before the year ends.

I guess we should all continue to pray for each other, and most of all learn from all the things that’s happening. Climate change is nature’s way of saying, “Enough!” It’s time for us to do something about it and to stop abusing nature. Most of all, it’s a message for the people to open their eyes on the wrong garbage disposal.
