Playschool At The Mall

PlayschoolToday, Dee and went to the mall to do our scheduled necessity shopping. We brought Iñigo along with us because he did not want to be left at home. Dee decided to go to David’s Salon to get a haircut. Iñigo and I have to wait for her for about an hour or so. I always wonder why it takes too long for women to have their hairs groomed — apparently she also had some extra services done for her finger and toenails…  I guess that’s herr way of pampering herself.

When we were about to go to the grocery, we passed by the part of the mall where a new establishment was just launched. It’s called Playschool at the mall. This kids playschool thing is very common in other big malls, but the mall near our place just launched it. I think it’s a big help for parents who bring kids along with them while shopping — an effective way to keep them away from the boredom of waiting and at the same time learning new things while having a great time playing with other kids.

We did let Iñigo join the rest of the kids. As you all know, he is  home-schooled for this year, and we thought that it would be a good thing for him to also migle with other kids his age.  Dee and I stayed outside for a few minutes to make sure Iñigo will be alright. And when we were sure he was behaving ang enjoying at the same time, we let him stay there for about an hour or so while we did our grocery shopping task.

We fetched him afterward only to find him reading  a story book to other kids. We were so proud when the playschool teacher told us how Iñigo behaved really well, and how much more mature and intelligent he is compared to kids his age and older.

We asked Iñigo if he had a great time, and he said he wanted to go there again to play, next time we go to the mall. Looks like we won’t have a problem with him asking us to buy toys and other stuff while tagging along when shopping. So I guess it is a great thing to have the playschool at the mall finally.
