Do you believe in coincidence? How about bad luck or bad omen? How about people whom they say brings a bad luck with them? Actually, I don’t! But there are some unexplainable incidents that are not only weird but also freaky-scary coincidences.
Let me give you one “bad luck” coincidence example. On April 14, 1865, Robert Todd Lincoln was present at Ford’s Theater when his father, Abraham Lincoln, was assassinated.
On July 2, 1881, he was again in a Washington rail station when US President James Garfield was shot.
And on September 6, 1901, the same Robert Todd Lincoln was at the Pan American Exposition in New York when President William McKinley was also shot.
Weird huh? I think so too. I wonder if Robert Todd Lincoln had that bad luck birthmark or bad omen of some sort. I’m sure other Presidents would not want to be with Robert Todd Lincoln in the same place, at the same time, if he lived up to this day. (lol)
It’s hard to be labeled a bearer of bad luck, and I guess no one would wish to bring misfortune to anyone or be called “the cursed one” — ever! But are curses true? I guess they are merely a coincidence — and very strange at that!
I guess when we fail at something, or something bad happens around us, we shouldn’t blame it on other people, unless otherwise, we have a solid proof that they have something to do with the incident. If not, we should refrain calling other people “cursed” or bad luck, I’m sure you do not want the same thing to happen to you. Let’s just lift up all our worries to God and focus on the brighter side of life. Be thankful for all the blessings, and not let those crazy and weird coincidence haunt us.
