Keepsake Rings

Rings has become a symbol of an unbreakable bond, union or promise between lovers, friends, family, or a commemoration of a very special event in someone’s life. The ring even help us determine whether a man or a woman is married or not.

Rings are special, not just because they are expensive, but because we only give them to people who are very special to us, and whom we’d like them to remember us for always. The very first ring that I gave Dee, was just this simple friendship ring that was made of a semi-precious stone. We bought it from a charms and crystals jewelry shop and they said that it’s a symbol of love and loyalty. The ring is my way of saying, I would always love her and I will be loyal and true to her.

There are two other keepsake rings that I value most, my wedding ring and my college ring. Two symbols that signify two very important things in my life, the promise that I share with Dee, to love and to hold till death do we part, and the other is like rainbow and sunshine after years of toiling and battling  under the storm. These two rings, I would like to give to my son someday, to keep and show to my future grandchildren, as a keepsake of their grandparent who loves them so much.
