Love Sacrifice : Another Sad Love Poem

Here’s Another Sad Love Poem I wrote for A friend who lost his girl to his own brother.  I couldn’t think of another title aside from “Love Sacrifice”, If you can think of a better one, just suggest. 

Love Sacrifice

Have you ever told somebody i love you
and yet you set them free?
have you ever held somebody closer than your soul
only to let them go and move away…

have you ever found the one….
the one who makes you feel complete?
Only to lose them forever
and watch them happy with someone else

did you ever wish you’re that somebody
who can kiss and taste her lips?
did you ever dream of her walking on the isle
pretty in her white wedding dress?

did you ever wish it was you
she’d say i do and promise forever to
and not the man beside you
who happened to be your beloved bro…

Are you going tonight,
or will you wait until tomorrow?
would you want to see her carry his child
and wish it was yours too?
while you smile and look at her,
and wish him happiness while you cry inside

or will you pick yourself up now and try to move on
…coz it’s time to say goodbye

    minsan kase e tama lang na mag let go na lang dahil sa mga sitwasyon na di naman maiiwasan..try to move on na lang para sa ikasasaya ng lahat kung yon na lang talaga ang paraan..

    i didn’t know you can wax poetic lines as well, parekoi. can you write a poem about how an angst-ridden bastard got turned down by the woman of his dreams on valentines day? lolz!

    oh i remember a lot of movies na may sulutan factor ang mga magkakapatid. Cute ung sa Dan in Real life, in the end napunta pa rin kay Steve Carell si Juliette Binoche =)
