Little things that’s worth a lifetime of happiness

So many firsts… So many firsts that lasts…
Just like how I fell in love
the very first time I laid my eyes on you.
Seeing you and watching you for the first time
touching and carrying you for the first time…

Seeing you grow, hearing you laugh,
seeing your eyes glistening in wonder and awe.
Watching your face glow with gladness ,
and your eyes wide open when surprised…

Those little toes and feet,
those tiny steps towards me…
Those tiny arms wide open,
the wide smile, the giggles,
and a tiny voice that says
gibberish words like daddda.

Those are the little things
that’s worth a lifetime of happiness for me.
